Collection: Edward Robert Hughes

Edward Robert Hughes (1851-1914) was an English painter who is best known for his ethereal and dreamlike depictions of mythological and allegorical themes. Hughes' works were characterized by their delicate beauty and their ability to evoke a sense of mystery and wonder. He was particularly skilled at creating works that combined elements of the classical and the fantastical, often using rich colors and intricate details to create a sense of otherworldly enchantment. Hughes was a skilled painter and was highly regarded in his lifetime, but his works fell out of favor after his death. Today, however, his works are once again being celebrated for their unique beauty and their contribution to the development of Symbolism and Art Nouveau. Some of his most famous works include "Midsummer Eve" and "Night with Her Train of Stars."
