Arthur Hughes

Arthur Hughes (1832-1915) was a British painter and illustrator who was associated with the Pre-Raphaelite movement. He was known for his delicate and whimsical paintings, which often featured romanticized scenes from literature and mythology.Hughes was deeply influenced by the work of the Pre-Raphaelites, particularly Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and was a close friend of many of the movement's leading figures.
