Ivan Shishkin

Ivan Shishkin was a Russian landscape painter born in 1832. He was known for his detailed and realistic depictions of forests and nature, which were inspired by his love for the Russian countryside. Shishkin was trained at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, where he was influenced by the Barbizon school of landscape painting.
